NEPHROLOGY
Nephrology is a sector of internal medicine. It is the study of kidney care and the treatment of kidney diseases. Our nephrologist, Mohammad Zahid, M.D., is fully educated in internal medicine. He has undergone special training to treat patients with kidney diseases, such as chronic kidney disease (CKD), polycystic kidney disease (PKD), acute renal failure, kidney stones and high blood pressure. He is also educated on all aspects of kidney transplantation and dialysis.
INTERNAL MEDICINE
Mohammad Zahid, M.D. is fully educated in all aspects of internal medicine. As a general internist, he is fully equipped to handle the wide spectrum of illnesses that affect adults, including the diagnosis and treatment of chronic illnesses, as well as in health promotion and disease prevention. While kidney care is his main focus, his training is not limited to one type of medical problem or organ system. Dr. Zahid is ready to help, no matter how common or rare your condition.
